Analitika Expo 2026 has completed its work

Next year, the International Exhibition "Analitika Expo" will be held for the 25th anniversary time

The International Exhibition "Analitika Expo 2026" has ended in Moscow. For three days, more than 200 Russian and foreign participants presented laboratory equipment, chemical reagents and new products in 8 product sections.

As part of the scientific and business program, 23 events were held. More than 100 speakers spoke on topics relevant to the industry related to the development of a modern analytical laboratory in the face of growing requirements for quality, efficiency and reliability of results, as well as issues of metrological support, quality management, personnel training and digitalization of processes.

Digitalization of laboratory activities: problems and prospects. Working Session "Topical Issues of Accredited Persons' Activities"


The partners of the session were the Association "Competence and Quality", the Accreditation Center "Standard" and the Private Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education "Training Center "Assistance". The session was moderated by Dmitry Vladimirovich Falkin, Chairman of the Competence and Quality Association, member of the All-Russian Organization for Quality, accreditation expert of the Competence and Quality Association.

Dmitry Vladimirovich Falkin spoke on the topic of implementing the digitalization process in the laboratory. The speaker noted that the laboratory industry has already gone through important stages of digital evolution: today the practice includes a single digital environment, LIMS as the core of the laboratory, data analysis using artificial intelligence, online consultations and distance learning for specialists.

Speaking about future prospects, Dmitry Falkin identified several key areas of development. Among them are the integration of LIMS with the Federal State Information System for direct data transmission, the use of AI in control activities, when protocols can be analyzed automatically, the creation of a digital laboratory profile in a single register, as well as digital confirmation of competence based on a risk-based approach.

At the same time, the speaker stressed that digitalization is not an end in itself: it is a working tool of a modern laboratory that allows you to increase the manageability of processes, data accuracy and transparency of activities.

Special attention was paid to the current problems of the industry:

// Lack of a unified conceptual apparatus in the field of digitalization of the activities of accredited persons
// There are no uniform rules for assessing the competence of automated and robotic workplaces of accredited persons
// There are no criteria for evaluating accredited persons using digital solutions: LIMS, IPS, electronic document management


Yana Beskrovna, information expert of the Consortium and the Competence and Quality Association, technical expert, presented an overview of current changes in the field of accreditation, including new regulatory legal acts, standards, methods, reference materials, as well as draft amendments. Among the most significant innovations, the speaker noted that Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (GLOBAC) will come into effect on January 1, 2026. In addition, the manual entry of methods and indicators for testing laboratories in the configurator of accreditation areas is gradually stopped: from April 1, 2026, the ban is introduced during the initial accreditation, and from September 1, 2026 - for accredited persons in the process of confirming competence and at the stage of forming documents. An exception will be made for methods with the stamp of chipboard if there is confirmation of the possibility of their use by an accredited person.

Separately, Yana Beskrovnaya dwelled on the changes to the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia No 649. In particular, the Order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation dated February 24, 2026 No 134 optimized the list of non-conformities that are the basis for refusing accreditation or suspending the activities of accredited persons in the areas of certification, inspection, testing, ensuring the uniformity of measurements and the activities of ISI providers. The document came into force on April 6, 2026.

The speaker also drew attention to the update of the regulatory framework: from January 1, 2026, new standards came into force, including GOST 12036-2025, which replaced GOST 12036-85 and establishes the rules for acceptance and methods for sampling seeds of agricultural plants, as well as GOST 34803-2021, first introduced for perfumery and cosmetic products and regulates methods for determining antimicrobial activity. According to the expert, the trend towards updating the regulatory framework will continue.

Irina Turetskaya, Specialist of the Quality Service of the INVITRO Group, Consultant of the Standard Accreditation Center LLC, teacher of the Private Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education "Training Center "Assistance", technical expert, spoke on the topic "The Future of Testing Laboratories: How Artificial Intelligence Transforms the Work of Laboratories". The speaker stressed that AI is already significantly changing the work of testing laboratories, affecting both routine operations and analytical tasks. According to her, in 2026, up to 60% of scientific laboratories in Russia will switch to the use of artificial intelligence to solve applied problems.

Among the advantages of AI, Irina Turetskaya highlighted the ability to identify hidden patterns, detect anomalies in the processing and generation of large amounts of data, improve the accuracy of research and at the same time save time for specialists. In the future, according to the speaker, robotic solutions for sample preparation, work with tablets and automated pipetting will be developed.

Alfiya Sharapova, Quality Manager of an accredited laboratory, teacher of the Private Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education "Training Center "Assistance", technical expert, made a presentation "Count cannot be missed!". Assessment of uncertainty during equipment calibration in the testing laboratory. Implementation of the requirements of clause 6.4.6 of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019, SM No 03.1-1.0016 of the RusAccreditation Policy regarding the uncertainty of measurements during research (testing)".

In her speech, the speaker systematized the regulatory framework for assessing the uncertainty of measurements. Among the key documents were GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 "General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories", the provisions of paragraphs 23.1 and 23.2 of the Accreditation Criteria, documents R 50.1.108-2016 "ILAC Policy on Traceability of Measurement Results" and R 50.1.109-2016 "ILAC Policy on Uncertainty in Calibrations", as well as documents of RusAccreditation updated in January 2026 - SM No 03.1-1.0016 and SM No 03.1-1.0010. Alfiya Sharapova separately commented on the provisions regarding the uncertainty of measurements during testing, drawing the attention of the participants to the practical application of the new requirements in the activities of testing laboratories.

Sergey Grishkin, General Director of CSM LLC, presented a report on the development and implementation of an integrated management system based on the principles of lean production in the activities of the testing laboratory. The speaker noted that the integration of management and lean manufacturing tools directly affects the credibility of the results, the speed of processes, the predictability of deadlines and the economic efficiency of the laboratory. According to the report's analysis, about 30% of working time in laboratory activities is used inefficiently. In this regard, Sergey Grishkin presented typical losses that occur during laboratory processes, as well as a work plan to improve efficiency.

According to the speaker, the implementation period of such a system is about 20 weeks. At the same time, LIMS was named one of the main tools of lean production in the testing laboratory. The expected effect of the implementation is an increase in overall operational efficiency and a reduction in test cycle time.

The report "Evolution of biological indicators: from Terragene. Guaranteed LOG6 and incubation in 7 seconds"


Anatoly Smirnov, Development Director of IBC CLEAN-SYSTEMS, presented the integrated solutions of the group of companies - from the design and construction of clean rooms to their validation. In his speech, he spoke in detail about the areas of work of the group's companies: IBC Clean Systems is engaged in the design, construction and validation of clean rooms, IBC Nanotex is engaged in the production and supply of materials, protective equipment, consumables and cleaning systems, IBC Chillers is the design and supply of air treatment equipment, IBC Plastic is engaged in the production of plastic elements for laboratories. The speaker also presented the company's own brands, including ZMAJ self-supporting "walkable" ceiling systems, TINMAN stainless steel furniture and N-PRO protection products.

According to Anatoly Smirnov, the company has two production sites in Serbia and one site in Russia. The design capacity of production is 1800 square meters of panels per shift, the level of automation reaches 80%, and the share of domestic raw materials exceeds 75%. As a practical case, the project of the laboratory of the third level of biological hazard was cited, in which ZMAJ wall and ceiling panels, TINMAN furniture, as well as more than 50 passboxes with access control systems were used.

Vyacheslav Ryadinsky, Product Director of IBC NANOTEX, continued the topic, focusing on consumables and sterilization control methods. Using the example of Terragene products, he spoke about the evolution of biological indicators - from classic spore strips used in earlier approaches to sterilization control, to autonomous indicators in which the spores and the culture medium are in one device, which reduces the risk of contamination. The speaker paid special attention to speed indicators. He explained that the method is based on the registration of the glow that occurs during the survival of spores, and the result is read by special incubators. The incubation time can be 3-4 hours, and in some cases as little as 1 hour. Vyacheslav Ryadinsky demonstrated the operation of an indicator for an autoclave: after the completion of the sterilization cycle, the ampoule is destroyed, the indicator is placed in a high-speed incubator, and an hour later a check is automatically generated with a positive or negative result. In addition, the speaker stressed that a quality certificate (COA) is issued for each batch of Terragene biological indicators, indicating the exact value of the spores.

 

Plenary Session "Data Trust: Digital Quality Infrastructure in the Age of AI"


The partner of the plenary session was Roskachestvo. The session was moderated by German Klimenko, Chairman of the Board of the Digital Economy Development Fund.

Opening the discussion, German Klimenko gave a good example from the field of artificial intelligence and medicine, focusing on the critical role of data quality. According to him, even one error in a sample of 100 thousand X-ray images can reduce the accuracy of the system by 15-20%, which makes the issue of reliability and verifiability of data fundamental for any digital trust infrastructure.

Andrey Antonov, CEO and founder of Credo LLC, outlined one of the most acute problems of the market: transparent business, especially new companies, often cannot independently and quickly find an accredited laboratory for the legal execution of the necessary documentation. According to the speaker, the existing information resources are too complex for an unprepared user.

As a possible solution, he cited his own experience of working in a toxicology laboratory, where a simple search service was created. By keyword, for example, "syringe", the system selected accredited centers that were ready to test medical devices. Andrey Antonov stressed that the public demand for digitalization has already been formed, and the further development of the testing market is directly related to the availability and clarity of digital tools.

On behalf of the head of the Federal Accreditation Service Dmitry Valeryevich Volvach, his assistant Mikhail spoke, presenting the current vision of the digital transformation of the department. He noted that out of 9.5 thousand accredited persons, 5.5 thousand are testing laboratories, which annually form 14.5 million protocols. According to the speaker, the key driver of development should be a single digital platform of trust with the active introduction of artificial intelligence. Among the nearest solutions, a chatbot based on a neural network for consultations on regulations was announced, as well as a system capable of determining the conformity assessment procedure by the HS code. In addition, Mikhail spoke about the transition to automated data transfer and plans to create a convenient search service for laboratories - by test objects, HS codes and physical parameters.

Elena Alexandrovna Saratseva, Deputy Head of Roskachestvo, focused on the applied use of digital tools. She recalled that from October 1, data from the register of RusAccreditation will be integrated into product cards on marketplaces. This will allow the consumer to see where and by whom the products were checked, and certificates with an inactive status will not be able to be used in trade. At the same time, the main challenge, according to the speaker, is not the availability of data as such, but the confirmed qualification of laboratories. As an example, Elena Saratseva cited the situation with honey research: out of 200 accredited laboratories, only 10% expressed their readiness to participate in interlaboratory comparison tests, and only 2% showed satisfactory results. The speaker stressed that such indicators are especially important for the customer today, and called on laboratories to more actively use the publication of the results of the MSI as a tool for strengthening reputation and trust from the market.

Ekaterina Alexandrovna Dovnarovich, head of the digital platform "Unified Test Operator", presented digital tools for the fuel and energy complex. She drew attention to the problem of variability of results: the same industrial valve in different test centers can show different results, which leads to additional approvals and bureaucratic burden. According to the speaker, the EOI platform and the Inspector module make it possible to automatically select a laboratory at the request of the manufacturer and record a digital footprint at each stage of testing. Ekaterina Dovnarovich also said that from 2024, the largest petrochemical companies signed a memorandum on mutual recognition of the results of tests carried out under the auspices of the Unified Test Operator. Concluding her speech, she stressed that in the era of artificial intelligence, quality is becoming part of the infrastructure of trust, and invited laboratories to register for free on the platform to receive direct orders from fuel and energy companies.

 

Round Table "Domestic Analytical Equipment in the Work of Forensic and Chemical-Toxicological Centers"


The moderator of the round table was Roman Vladimirovich Yakushin, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologies and Biomedical Preparations, Acting Head of the Department of Expertise in Doping and Drug Control of the D.I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.

Alexey Olegovich Shablya, Technical Director of the Yuzhpolymetal-Holding Group of Companies, presented a report on the topic "Unification of the instrument base as a basis for strengthening interdepartmental and interregional cooperation in the field of control of prohibited substances". The speaker drew attention to the high dynamics of the emergence of new compounds: according to him, in 2024, an average of one new substance per week was detected in illegal trafficking. Such a speed of updating the nomenclature of prohibited compounds creates a serious burden on expert and chemical-toxicological laboratories, which are not always ready for their prompt identification.

In these conditions, according to the speaker, the unification of the instrument base is of particular importance, which makes it possible to build more effective interaction between departments and regions, as well as to ensure the comparability of results at different levels of control. Alexey Shablya outlined the key requirements for the instrumentation necessary for the prompt detection and recognition of new types of prohibited substances. These include the portability and reliability of field equipment, high accuracy and reliability of identification, the use of a unified set of methods in both field and laboratory scenarios, as well as the relevance of data and the ability to centrally share information between laboratories and field devices.

Andrey Vladislavovich Demensky, Head of the Special Examinations Department of the Forensic Center of the Transport Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Central Federal District, Police Lieutenant Colonel, spoke about the specifics of the work of the expert center. In his speech, he presented the dynamics of the identification of controlled substances, and also outlined what equipment is used in practical work for their detection and identification, including information retrieval systems. Separately, the speaker focused on the problems faced by specialized departments in their daily activities.
