The second day of the Analitika Expo 2026 exhibition has come to an end. More than 200 exhibitors continue to present laboratory equipment, chemical reagents, consumables and integrated solutions for laboratories in various industries.
On the second day, the scientific and business program brought together experts, representatives of laboratories, manufacturers and industry specialists to discuss practical and regulatory issues - from sampling and interlaboratory comparison tests to analytical control of food products, environmental monitoring and management of laboratory equipment.

Vera Ivanovna Sheveleva considered the requirements for the sampling process in testing laboratories. She drew attention to paragraphs 7.3 on Sampling, 7.8.2, 7.8.5 and 6.6.1, 7.2.2.1 and 7.6.1. Taking into account the definitions of laboratory activities, the speaker stressed that the requirements for laboratory activities fully apply to sampling. According to her, it is the correct selection that allows you to draw a conclusion about the characteristics of the test object as a whole, and not just a specific sample.
Separately, the provisions of the standard that are often overlooked in the issues of sampling management were highlighted: requirements for structure, premises, personnel, content of results reports and uncertainty assessment. Vera Ivanovna Sheveleva stressed that sampling is a critically important stage that cannot be ignored.
Ivan Vladimirovich Boldyrev devoted his report to the accreditation of laboratories for compliance with GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 in the field of sampling. The speaker presented the definitions of sampling and sampling according to GOST R 52361, as well as the provisions of standard 17025 related to resource management and the sampling process. Regarding the process of sampling and preparation of samples, the speaker notes that since the competence of testing laboratories that perform sampling and preparation (production of samples) and those that do not perform these works is different, the areas of accreditation of these laboratories should be different.
Evgenia Vladimirovna Murashova dwelled on typical inconsistencies in the activities of laboratories in the field of sampling. Among the most common violations, the speaker highlights:

Anna Sergeevna Zhuk addressed the topic of laboratory practice in the use of reference materials and cases when they can be replaced by samples with a certified value, and also commented on the new Policy of RusAccreditation SM No 03.1-1.0008 ver.04.1 dated 01.12.2025. She recalled that in accordance with paragraph 7.7 of GOST ISO/IEC 17025, the laboratory must have a procedure for monitoring the reliability of the results of its activities. The speaker paid attention to the monitoring options provided for in paragraph 7.7.1, and also listed the controls for monitoring the reliability of the results of activities, including:

Speaking about changes in the policy of RusAccreditation, the speaker noted the clarification of terminology and the emergence of a new term - participation in MSI (alternative methods of monitoring).
Evgeny Nikolaevich Tupitsyn considered the uncertainty of reference materials and its impact on the results of qualification testing laboratories. He noted the new requirements of ISO/IEC 17043-2025, according to which heterogeneity and instability were also among the main sources of uncertainty in the assigned values, in addition to the characterization of the reference sample. As a practical example, the development of a sample for testing the qualification in determining the mass fraction of fluoride in terms of the molar mass of fluoride in toothpaste was presented.

Tretyakov, Deputy Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution VGNKI, and Mikhail Alekseevich Proskurnin, Professor, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Chemistry.
Alexey Viktorovich Tretyakov, Deputy Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution VGNKI, spoke about the practice of using mass spectrometry in ensuring food safety. He elaborated on the evolution of analytical control methods and noted that today more than 80% of indicators are controlled using chromatography-mass spectrometry, which is internationally recognized as an arbitration method. Particular emphasis was placed on the problem of falsification of dairy products. According to the speaker, the substitution of milk fat with low-quality palm oil leads not only to economic damage, but also to the ingress of glycidyl esters and MCPD esters, which have carcinogenic and teratogenic properties, into the products.
Alexei Tretyakov also presented data on the dynamics of laboratory control for 2015–2025. Despite the increase in the number of analytes (more than 400 compounds) and the number of methodological documents (over 270), the number of detected disorders is decreasing. According to the speaker, this indicates an increase in the awareness of manufacturers and the effectiveness of production control.
Viktor Tishchenko, Head of the Veterinary Control Department of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Center for Animal Health" of the Rosselkhoznadzor (FGBI "ARRIAH"), highlighted the current aspects of the legislation in the field of standardization of residual contents of veterinary drugs and the application of methods within the framework of Technical Regulation. The speaker drew attention to the complexity of interpreting the requirements of technical regulations, especially in terms of the timing of the elimination of drugs from the body of animals. Separately, the problem of the lack of legally enshrined maximum permissible levels for a number of drugs used was identified, which creates risks during state control.
Ekaterina Krylova, Leading Researcher of the Department of Molecular Biology of the All-Russian State Center for Quality and Standardization of Medicines for Animals and Feed of the Rosselkhoznadzor (FSBI VGNKI), spoke about molecular genetic methods within the framework of quality control of food and feed products. She spoke about the use of PCR in cases where morphological features are lost, for example, in minced meat, pâtés and canned food, and ELISA is ineffective due to heat treatment.
According to the expert, VGNKI has developed methods for semi-quantitative assessment of the DNA content of chicken, pig or horse in meat products. This makes it possible to distinguish malicious falsification from accidental technological impurity. Also, at present, the concept of technological impurity is not legally enshrined in Russia, but work on making appropriate changes to TR CU 034 is already underway, and the permissible levels will be prescribed.

Vladislav Evgenievich Korobkin, Head of the Chelyabinsk Region Environmental Monitoring Center, shared his practical experience in creating a territorial monitoring system in the Chelyabinsk Region. He noted that since 2020, the region has been consistently moving from simple data collection to building an environmental quality management system. According to him, the key task is not only to observe, but also to quickly analyze information, as well as to give data a legal status for making management decisions. The speaker stressed that such a system should inform enterprises about the current situation, not replacing control and supervisory functions, but allowing businesses to respond in a timely manner to changes in air quality in their areas of influence.
Svetlana Alexandrovna Tikhnenko, Director of the Center for the Implementation of Measures for Nature Management and Environmental Protection of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, spoke about the work of the expanded monitoring network of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. She spoke about the use of stationary and mobile laboratories, which make it possible to take measurements where the installation of stationary posts is impractical. Particular attention was paid to the issues of data verification and interaction with the state monitoring system. Among the systemic problems that need to be solved at the federal level, the speaker highlighted the discrepancy between the new equipment and the current regulatory framework. It was also noted that it is difficult to identify a specific source of pollution in the context of dense buildings and a large number of small enterprises for which there are no approved methods for controlling emissions.
Yulia Filatkina, General Director of the Center for Environmental Reforms, Head of the Department of Environmental Management and Sustainable Development of the Rosstandart Academy, Member of the Board of the Agency for Electronic Review, spoke about the goals of the project technical committee for standardization of PTC 716 "Territorial Observation Systems". The main task is to create national standards governing the creation and support of environmental monitoring systems in the regions. The expert stressed that today such systems are developing separately, and there is no single "digital language" yet. Among the key goals of the SHC 716 are data unification, ensuring the compatibility of various devices and the transition to technological sovereignty. The first GOSTs, which are planned to be developed in 2026, will be devoted to a single terminology in the field of environmental monitoring.
Lyudmila Evgenievna Shumova, Leading Expert of the Ecology Department of MTS PJSC, addressed the topic of digitalization of environmental control and the transition from paper reporting to digital solutions. She focused on the importance of creating a single window for collecting data from heterogeneous equipment. The main difficulty of enterprises and regulators is the need to combine information from stationary posts, small-sized stations and automatic control systems into a single platform for prompt response. Separately, the expert dwelled on the topic of protecting environmentally significant data: in the context of an increasing number of cyberattacks, the security of information systems accumulating emission data is becoming critically important.
Dmitry Mikhailovich Mishukov, General Director of the Legal Center for Industrial Ecology LLC, considered the legal aspects and the latest changes in legislation. He recalled that the deadlines for equipping enterprises with automatic control systems for the first wave have already expired, and in the near future we should expect increased inspections. The expert also touched upon the topic of introducing predictive control systems, which can become a less expensive alternative to total instrumental control, provided that their results are recognized by the state.
Olga Sergeevna Malykh, Leading Expert of ARSI LLC, Odor Laboratory No1, devoted her speech to the objectivization of odor measurement as an environmental impact factor. She noted that the smell often causes complaints from the population, but is still poorly taken into account in the current system of hygienic regulation. According to the speaker, chemical analysis does not allow you to fully predict the perception of smell by a person, since it depends on many factors, including the shape of molecules and the synergy of substances. The expert spoke in detail about olfactometry methods, which allow you to translate subjective sensations into measurable values with the help of selected experts and special equipment.
The author of the master class is "Labconcept". Anna Mikhailovna Zakharova, Senior Researcher, Ph.D., specialist in high-performance liquid chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry of the Labconcept Laboratory, presented an approach to the determination of water-soluble vitamins in beverages using the LicArt 62 liquid chromatograph. The speaker recalled that until the beginning of the XX century, vitamins were not singled out as an independent object of analysis. The expert also noted that water-soluble vitamins are difficult to analyze due to their different chemical nature, low concentration and the influence of the product matrix.
Anna Kozlova, a chemical engineer of the 1st category, a specialist in high-performance liquid chromatography of the laboratory of Labconcept LLC, said that an automatic dispenser with cooling is used in the analysis, since vitamin solutions are quickly destroyed and require stable storage conditions for calibration. To separate B vitamins, an ion-pair reagent is added, which ensures the interaction of substances with the stationary phase of the column. The speaker also emphasized that the diode array detector allows not only to record the retention time, but also to compare absorption spectra to confirm the correctness of identification. Anna Kozlova also showed how the presence of vitamins in a drink sample is confirmed on the basis of a library of spectra and the concentration is calculated according to the calibration dependence.
Partner: Labconcept. Maria Troyan, Deputy Director for Scientific and Technical Work at Labconcept, spoke about the key achievements and development of the LicArt 62 line of liquid chromatographs. The company has already delivered and launched 450 systems, and one of the main news was the active transition to localization of production. In December 2025, the first two completely domestic devices were assembled in St. Petersburg. The speaker elaborated on the technical improvements, saying that the company's engineers are already testing the fourth generation of valves for pumps with two balls and a spring, which are less prone to sticking and hold pressure more stably.
Separately, the modernization of the diode array detector was considered: thanks to the change in the design of the measuring cell, the noise level was reduced to about 0.7 by 10^-5. New Russian-designed units were also presented, including a post-column derivatization module, in which safe heating elements were used instead of mineral oil. As for the software, it was noted that both available software options comply with the requirements of GMP and GOST, and the network version implements the gradient correction function to equalize the amount of delay.

Natalia Gennadievna Yatsenko, accreditation expert of RusAccreditation, lecturer of CC ZNANIE LLC, considered the issues of incoming control and verification of equipment in the testing laboratory. The speaker noted the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 for the selection of equipment for laboratory activities, including the provisions of paragraphs 6.6.1 and 6.1.4.5. The speaker stressed that the laboratory should have procedures and keep records to identify, review and approve requirements for equipment and services. Such records should include a list of equipment and services, as well as requirements for them.
Further, the expert listed the main requirements for testing and auxiliary equipment, measuring utensils, reagents, laboratory furniture, as well as verification and certification services. Separately, Natalia Gennadievna Yatsenko dwelled on the aspects of incoming control and verification of equipment taking into account the requirements of the standard and gave an example of registration of incoming control and verification before putting the equipment into operation.
Elena Valerievna Kulyabina, Ph.D., Head of the Laboratory of Metrological Support of Biological and Information Technologies, FBU "NRC PM – Rostest" (formerly VNIIMS), Associate Professor of RTU-MIREA, Department of Modern Control Technologies, Institute of Control Technologies, FBU "NRC PM – Rostest" spoke on the topic of certification of test equipment. She presented the regulatory framework, including GOST R 8.568-2017, and focused on the terminology related to testing equipment and its certification. The expert noted that if the testing equipment is used in the mandatory certification of products, then measuring instruments and standard samples of approved types using certified measurement techniques are used during its certification. If the equipment is used in areas where there are no mandatory requirements for products, calibrated measuring instruments are used during certification. The procedure for conducting the initial certification was considered separately.
