The first day of Analitika Expo 2026 has come to an end. Visitors were able to get acquainted with a large-scale exposition of laboratory equipment and chemical reagents, as well as take part in a rich scientific and business program that brought together experts, manufacturers, suppliers and representatives of the scientific community.

Seminar "High-Sensitivity Detectors for Gas Chromatography in the Context of Import Substitution"


The partner is Chromatech. The speaker is Dmitry Albertovich Milochkin, Deputy General Director for Analytical Work. The expert spoke about new domestic detectors for chromatography. The central topic of the presentation was a chemiluminescent detector designed for the analysis of sulfur-containing compounds and with a sensitivity of 10 ppb. Special attention in the report was paid to the technological features of the development. The creation of such a detector required the solution of a number of engineering problems, in particular, a special solution was found for ceramic tubes, providing high stability of results.

Dmitry Albertovich Milochkin also said that a helium ionization detector was presented, which ionizes almost all compounds and is a simpler and more affordable alternative to imported analogues. The speaker also shared data on the practical application of devices in the analysis of natural gas, light petroleum products and diesel fuel, confirming the high repeatability and linearity of measurements.

 

Plenary Session "Analytical Laboratory Today: Quality, Efficiency, Reliability"

Evgeny Kizhaev, Director for Export Support in the Chemical Industry of the Group of Companies of the Russian Export Center, made a presentation on "Export Potential of the Russian Chemical Industry and Analytical Industry: New Markets and Support Tools". In his speech, he noted that the chemical industry of Russia continues to show growth, and the enterprises of the industry are actively developing import substitution areas.

The speaker presented the capabilities of the Russian Export Center to support companies in foreign markets, spoke about the presence of the REC in 18 countries and tools to support foreign economic activity. Separately, he dwelled on the system of voluntary certification "Made in Russia" as one of the mechanisms for promoting domestic products in international markets.

Ilya Igorevich Ershov, Deputy Head of the Metrology Department of Rosstandart, made a report "Development of legislation on ensuring the uniformity of measurements". He spoke about the changes that came into force on March 1, 2025 in accordance with the Federal Law of 14.02.2024 No18-FZ, and also noted the organization of the activities of the state metrological service by the order of Rosstandart of December 24, 2025 No2848.

The speaker also commented on a number of changes in the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia No2905, including:

In addition, Ilya Igorevich Ershov commented on the provisions of the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia No2510, which is also planned to be amended.

Mikhail Ivanovich Melnik, Leading Specialist in Spectral Equipment of Energolab LLC, presented a report on the technological modernization of analytical and research laboratories. The speaker spoke about the equipment supplied by the company, including the Sintecon line, Energolab's own trademark. The expert spoke about the technical characteristics of the equipment and the range of tasks for which they can be used in laboratory practice.

Tatyana Konstantinovna Usova, accreditation expert of RusAccreditation, member of the working group on working with experts of the FSA, lecturer of CC ZNANIE LLC, SPOKE ABOUT THE LIFE CYCLE OF A LABORATORY ACCREDITED IN THE NATIONAL ACCREDITATION SYSTEM. In her speech, she elaborated on the regulatory framework governing the activities of testing laboratories. In particular, the speaker recalled the accreditation scheme for a testing laboratory in the national accreditation system – SM No 03.1-9.0013, version 02.2 of October 2025, as well as the accreditation criteria established by GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019, including the requirements for the management system.

Tatyana Konstantinovna Usova also noted that the accreditation procedures, as well as the expansion and reduction of the scope of accreditation, are determined by the Federal Law of 28.12.2013 No 412-FZ, the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 26.11.2021 No 2050 and the accreditation scheme SM No 03.1-9.0013. Special emphasis was placed on the requirements for applying for accreditation and expanding the scope of accreditation.

At the end of her speech, the speaker recalled that accreditation is granted indefinitely, but an accredited laboratory is obliged to undergo procedures for confirming competence within the life cycle established by Article 24 of Federal Law No 412-FZ: the first confirmation of competence is carried out within the first year from the date of accreditation, then at least once every two years from the date of the previous procedure, as well as every five years from the date of accreditation.

 

Seminar "Legislation is changing: a checklist for the head of a testing laboratory"


Partner – COMPETENCE CENTER "ZNANIE". Moderator — Inna Vlasova, Ph.D., Technical Expert of the Federal Service for Accreditation, Member of the All-Russian Organization for Quality, Quality Director of CC ZNANIE LLC.

A review report was made by Inna Andreevna Vlasova, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Technical Expert of RusAccreditation, Quality Director of CC ZNANIE LLC. She described the main trend of 2025-2026 as increased control, digitalization of processes and detailing of requirements. According to the speaker, changes in the regulatory framework occur at a high speed: certain policies of RusAccreditation were revised twice during the year, which significantly reduces the time for laboratories to adapt.

Among the key changes, Inna Andreevna highlighted the amendments to Federal Law No 102-FZ, which came into force on March 1, 2025, according to which laboratories in the field of state regulation are now required to use the methods included in the Federal Fund for Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements. The provisions of Federal Law No 412-FZ were also amended: now it is not allowed to completely reduce the scope of accreditation, and the termination of accreditation at the initiative of the laboratory is impossible until the completion of state control measures.

Tatyana Konstantinovna Usova, an expert on accreditation of RusAccreditation, a member of the FSA working group, a lecturer at the ZNANIE Training Center, spoke about the formation of the scope of accreditation in accordance with the Order of RusAccreditation No211 dated 16.12.2025. At the same time, the application must be accompanied not only by the updated scope of accreditation, but also by a document that records all the changes made, including the replacement of methods, clarification of indicators and changes in the addresses of activities.

The speaker paid special attention to the new procedure for working with methods issued to replace the previously used ones. According to her, the laboratory can verify and recognize the new technique as equivalent if its use does not require new equipment and is not associated with the expansion of measurement ranges. Otherwise, a procedure for expanding the scope of accreditation is necessary.

Zilia Khasanova, Technical Expert of RusAccreditation, presented the methodology for filling out self-examination questionnaire forms, approved on February 19, 2026. She stressed that the questionnaire has become a mandatory annex to applications for accreditation, expansion of the scope of accreditation and confirmation of competence. Incomplete or formal filling out of the questionnaire, as the speaker noted, entails the return of the application without consideration. The expert recommended that laboratories should not limit themselves to general references to the sections of the quality manual, but prescribe in as much detail as possible the paragraphs and subparagraphs of the management system documents.

Anna Sergeevna Zhuk, Accreditation Expert of RusAccreditation, lecturer at the ZNANIE Training Center, devoted her speech to the issue of presenting measurement uncertainty in accordance with paragraph 7.8.3.1c of GOST ISO/IEC 17025, taking into account the requirements of the ILAC and FSA Policies, which traditionally causes a lot of discussion: what exactly should be indicated in the protocol – error or uncertainty. In accordance with the new policy of RusAccreditation, the requirements of a specific measurement technique have priority. If the procedure provides for the issuance of a result with an indication of the error, the laboratory must follow this requirement. If there are no such instructions in the methodology, the laboratory is obliged to issue a result with extended uncertainty, necessarily explaining in the protocol what exactly is attributed to the result.

An overview of non-conformities leading to the refusal of accreditation and suspension of the activities of the testing laboratory was presented by Ekaterina Vladimirovna Latysheva, accreditation expert of RusAccreditation. She drew attention to an important change: for state laboratories, the requirements regarding the experience of personnel, the work of the manager at the main place of work, the availability of approved policies for metrological traceability, the uncertainty of measurements and participation in interlaboratory comparative tests, as well as the sufficiency of facilities and equipment, are no longer grounds for refusal.

At the same time, the speaker stressed that if these requirements are not met, suspension is possible at the first confirmation of competence. In addition, the rules for backup and archiving remained mandatory for everyone without exception.

Natalia Gennadievna Yatsenko, accreditation expert of RusAccreditation, lecturer at the ZNANIE Training Center, reminded of the need to take into account changes in measurement methods and regulatory documents as part of the analysis by the management. She stressed that from March 1, 2025, laboratories in the field of state regulation are required to work only according to the methods included in the Federal Fund for Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements. If there is no methodology from the scope of accreditation in the Foundation, the laboratory must find a replacement, verify and apply for the expansion of the field.

Seminar "Analytical Equipment in Pharmaceutical Production: From Pharmaceutical Analysis to Science and Education"


The partner of the seminar is the D.I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. Moderator — Roman Vladimirovich Yakushin, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologies and Biomedical Preparations, Acting Head of the Department of Expertise in Doping and Drug Control of the D.I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.

Ekaterina Ivanovna Repkina, Director of the Training Department of the HR Directorate of R-Pharm JSC, spoke about the creation of laboratories and practical centers in educational organizations on the example of R-Pharm's experience. The focus of her speech was on an integrated approach to training personnel for the pharmaceutical industry, combining schools, colleges, universities and specialized training programs. The speaker presented the educational solutions that are used in this model, including a resource center, a VR training center, workshops, and a training center.

Yulia Valerievna Ermolenko, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Deputy Head of the Scientific and Educational Laboratory of Drug Delivery Systems of the D.I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, made a presentation on "Instrumental Methods of Analysis in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology". She presented approaches to the use of analytical equipment in the educational process and student research work.

Among the key methods, the speaker singled out high-performance liquid chromatography, which is used in special courses and student research, as well as capillary electrophoresis, which is used in special courses and research, including on the example of beverage analysis. The report was accompanied by examples of student works demonstrating how instrumental methods of analysis are integrated into the educational and research process.

Natalia Vyacheslavovna Ignatieva, General Director of Industrial Laboratories LLC, presented the report "Import substitution of photometric equipment. GMP validation". The speaker spoke about the development and production of spectrophotometers for laboratory, industrial and scientific applications, and also outlined the key requirements for import-substituting solutions in the field of photometry. According to her, not only the technical characteristics of the equipment are important for pharmaceutical laboratories, but also the possibility of its stable operation in a regulated environment. Among the priority criteria, Natalia Vyacheslavovna Ignatieva singled out the reproducibility and reliability of measurement results, compliance with internal quality procedures, the possibility of verification and qualification of equipment, as well as the reliability of service support and supplies.

 

Seminar "Reference Materials for Analytical Control: Problems and Prospects"

Baranovskaya, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Certification and Analytical Control, Leading Researcher at NUST MISIS, Head of the Center for Collective Use of Physical Methods of Substances and Materials, Chief Researcher at the N.S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Consultant of Giredmet, President of the Association "Analytics", and Mikhail Alekseevich Proskurnin, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor of Chemical of the Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Valery Vasilyevich Stepanovskikh, Director of the Institute of Reference Materials (ISO CJSC, Yekaterinburg), made a presentation on "Production of Reference Materials for Metallurgical Materials. History and Modernity". He recalled that standard samples for ferrous metallurgy materials began to be developed at the beginning of the XX century. Mass production in the USSR started in 1933, and by 1934, the development of 12 standard samples with the certification of 28 elements was completed. By 1939, the nomenclature of standard samples reached 93 items.

The speaker paid special attention to the history of VNIISO, which was organized in 1963 as the All-Union Research Institute of Reference Materials and Spectral Standards. The report outlined the key stages of the Institute's activities, as well as considered the system of metrological control of measurements of the chemical composition of metals and alloys. Valery Vasilyevich noted that the scope of accreditation of the ISO Testing Analytical Center includes 704 measurement methods.

Valery Vasilyevich Stepanovskikh also highlighted a number of problems of manufacturers of reference materials, including:

// Use of only verified measuring instruments in the field (it is forbidden to use calibrated measuring instruments during CRM testing)


The report "Reference Materials as a Key Element in Ensuring the Quality of Laboratory Studies of Mineral Raw Materials" was made by Maria Igorevna Lebedeva, Head of the Department of Metrology, Standardization and Accreditation, Chief Metrologist of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "All-Russian Research Institute of Mineral Raw Materials named after N.M. Fedorovsky" (VIMS). She noted that laboratory research in the field of subsoil study and development has a number of specific features: a variety of objects of analysis, the mass nature of quantitative determinations and a wide range of determinable contents. The speaker spoke in more detail about the industry register of reference materials approved for use in geological exploration for solid minerals. According to her, the register currently includes 1358 samples, the largest share of which is made up of precious metal ores and products of their processing.

Among the topical issues in the field of reference materials for the composition of mineral raw materials, Maria Igorevna outlined the shortage in the Federal Information Fund and the industry register, as well as dependence on imports and their insolvency. As one of the possible solutions, the idea of creating a bank of matrix standard samples of composition for key fields of the Russian Federation was proposed.
